Psalms 82: 3-4

Stand up for those who are weak and for those whose fathers have died. See to it that those who are poor and those who are beaten down are treated fairly. Save the weak and those who are in need.

We thank you for being one with us in our effort to protect the weak especially the children. Our advocacy and efforts on protection children from abuse is making headway.
 *** Children served in each program and services

• Over 200 children in the Day Care Program where 100 will graduate this coming March
• More than 25 children undergone counseling the CBTAP
• All the children and families in the Center of HOPE in Laguna
• More than 25,000 children given advocacy on children’s rights and prevention of child abuse in Manila
• The HOPE Mobile Puppet Team established in Cebu last year has also serve thousands of children.
• Over 2,000 volunteers served in HOPE’s programs and services

We thank you because we can not do these things without your help.

This year, we aim to equal if not exceed what we did last year and we are again calling on your help through the SCAN Can Fundraising Campaign.

• WE ARE calling all those who got their SCAN Cans before October last year to turn over your cans already. We believe and know that the time given is enough to make your best effort to fill in the cans you have.
• Please submit the cans to your HOPE coordinator on (or before) March 01, 2009. If there are any concerns, please let your HOPE coordinators know.
• We are going to use the proceeds of this fund raising to HELP sustain all the programs and services of HOPE worldwide Philippines. (see the poster on the list of programs & services)
• TOGETHER we can make the Philippines a safer place for all children and by support the Stop Child Abuse Now campaign of HOPE
• THE CANS WILL GO HOME TO SERVE OUR CHILDREN IN HOPE
